We are here again deskhoppers

These days are all going so fast, I wonder why that is when I’m not particularly doing anything.  I’ve no structure or routine as such but the days go so quickly.

I have finished another lot of headbands for the nurses at Wythenshawe hospital, so I’m counting that as something on my desk this week.

My niece Sophie made this for my mum out of all bits and pieces she had at home.  Isn’t it lovely.

I’m teaching Philip how to cook.  So far he’s made spicy Parsnip soup and cottage pie.  He looks rather fetching in his pinny don’t you think.

And here’s what I’m currently reading.  I’ve a massive pile of books to get through.  Not being a daytime reader there’s no chance of me running out of books.  I only read at night in bed and in the morning when I wake up.  It’s something I’ve done all my life from being a nipper.

A couple of days a week I pop down to my Mum’s with shopping and if the weather is warm I’ll take a flask and sit in her garden at a safe distance.  It’s hard when it comes to leaving though and we can’t have a hug.

It’s not forever though, so keep smiling everyone and I’ll see you next week.  I’m on a mission to get back to crafting of some sort, so watch this space.

Stay safe
Love Lynn
