Behind the Garden Gate
on VE Day
We had some early unexpected visitors for
our top of the lane VE Day display
This little one was keeping socially distanced from the Land girls behind the garden gate haha.
And these two were more interested in
getting in their exercise for the day
Some of these girls look a bit legless,
they must have been on the milk stout
Well the sun shone, we donned our 40’s outfits and sat outside with the neighbours and enjoyed a bit of singing and a picnic

We have our teddies on show for children to see on their daily walks, but your displays are much nicer!
