FLIGHT OF THE DOODLY BIRDS

I have been working hard on getting these little fellas preened and ready for their emigration to further fields.

And their flight path is direct one way to Touchstones Tourist Information Centre in Rochdale

where they will fluff up their feathers ready to slip into someone's Santa sack

and finally come to rest in their new home.

You can see them perched on mousemats, coasters, fridge magnets and the ever popular notebooks. You may even see them on a ruler or two.

READY TO FLY THE NEST

What a busy day it has been in the studio

All these lovely Doodly Birds are now ready to fly off to their new homes.

They are so excited, hoping that they will land somewhere nice.

ON THE LITTLE SCREEN TODAY WE HAVE ...........

Attended a great screen printing workshop at textile artist Dionne Swift's Holmfirth Studio

It was a good taster session for learning different techniques, all of which can be done at home, for very little outlay. Fanatastic for doing one off pieces which you could stitch into, quilt, make bags, framed art work or made into canvas pieces, book covers.............. lots of possibilities.
