WOYWW 663 - Listen to the pouring rain

Hello Wednesday desk hoppers, was I harping on about the
rain last week ?  Well I’m still harping on about this week.
It feels like it’s never going to stop and according to the forecast
we’ve got it every day until at least the 28th.
Still it’s an excuse to play with the new variegated threads
that have arrived from Rainbow Silks. Watch out for more
water soluble bowls and fabrics coming soon.
We don’t do Valentines Day in this house but we did drag out
the daft Cupid video we made in lockdown and got a few laughs
and cheery comments about it on Facebook & Instagram.

After 43 years together I’m happy to say we still rub along
well together. I think it’s the non stop banter and laughter
that does it.

Can’t hang about as it’s Blood Donation day.
Zoom Pilates and zoom textile meetings on the go as well.
Yesterday was the dentist and next week it’s mammogram.
Its busier than working heehee.

Keep crafting
Lynn

  1. Oh how pretty those silks are - they look edible LOL! Had to smile at your previous post BTW, and I love Miriam M. I get in these phases where I end up watching compilations of her on Graham Norton. She is such a hoot. Anyway. hope the blood donating went well and congrats on your 43 years of wedded bliss.

    Have the happiest of WOYWW!

  2. It's still raining here too and, as I've been quite rough recently, the thing that's kept me entertained has been the Winter Olympics! Love the colours of those silks, have fun with those beauties!

  5. Great photos, Love the fabric heart stitching. We have had MR. Wind over a week, driving is crazy and late today and Thurs rain/snow mix I'll be content making backgrounds and more doodling of flowers. Time to make some soups. I do big double batches and freeze 1/2, keeps me out of the kitchen for part of next week. Not a lover of 3 meal cooking. Enjoy WOYWW and the have fun the rest of the week.
