The rabbits have had to take a back seat this week behind our gate at the house on the hill as there’s been an invasion of teddy bears.
The big guy is welcoming young and old as they huff and puff up the steep country lane. He hopes they are all enjoying their walk in the sunshine
Meanwhile behind lockdown gate there’s cakes and chocolates being scoffed without any thoughts of getting fat and full of spots or teeth dropping out.
Meanwhile at Craft Corner children have enjoyed a lucky dip of free craft kits, drawing books and crayons.
I’ve had some smiley moments when notes have been pushed through the gate saying how they enjoy passing our house.
Enjoy the sunshine everyone. Don’t forget to stop and say hello to the teddies if you are passing by.
I love the joy and cheer that you are bringing to your neighbors, especially the young ones! How lovely that they left you notes to tell you how much they enjoyed your little side of the road oasis. As my grandfather would say... you are good people!
ReplyDeleteMuch love to you, Lynn. (I like the Teddy Bears' Picnic ;D ) xxxxxx
ReplyDeleteYou've given me a lovely warm glow, what a joy it must be for children to walk past your menagerie and those crafty kits are so inspired. i think you're going to having a lot of visits when lockdown is over from kids you've inspired! xxx
ReplyDeleteSo sweet, what lucky children to have you near and vice versa!
ReplyDeleteWalking past your house must be such a treat, and I'm sure kids are looking forward to seeing what's new every time. We have a teddy bear thing going here, with people putting teddy bears in their windows, for kids to enjoy. We have two in ours and ... wait for it ... one of them is wearing a bear brooch :-)) Keep safe and healthy, my dear friends. Love from us. xxx
