Last Day ......

Last full day at our caravan in the lakes, but still time for a bit of doodling.

The postcard is of the gardens at Sizergh Castle. Now it's off down to the food market at Cartmel, then a stroll around Grange over sands.

DOODLY DRAWING ......

It's so nice sitting in the sunshine practising my doodling.

It's ages since I got the chance to be so creative.  Maybe I should come on holiday more often.

Woolly trail at Sizergh Castle, Cumbria

We had a lovely time walking through the wool trail in the forest of the castle.

All the birds and animals in the trees were either knitted or felted.

Aren't they fantastic.  This is only a small selection of them.

Wish I could show them all.

Kilt pins, Ceramic buttons & a caravan

A trip to Sizergh Farm shop resulted in me making these three hangings.

I got the kilt pins and ceramic buttons there.

I brought the fabrics and threads with me as part of my creative holiday kit.  I also bring a bit of knitting, some art supplies to do a bit of painting and doodling, and a stash of art/craft magazines that I've saved purposely.

I love our caravan in the Lake District, it's such a relaxing creative place
