2022 Lets be having you

So despite having Covid and being quite poorly I want to say happy new year to everyone and to say aren’t we lucky to live in a country that has made sure we have all been vaccinated and is doing its best to keep us safe and well.

I may look a bit rough around the edges and have had to self isolate, but I’m here to tell the tale and can start to look forward to going out again and having the energy to do more than drag myself around the house.

So I’m wishing you all the very best for 2022 and I will be back at my desk soon with some crafting, creating and chatting.

Just before I sign off, I did manage to knock this little banner up yesterday.

Remember though we still need to take care out there, we are not out of the woods yet.

  1. Happy New Year!
Love your banners - so worth reminding people. Hoping you weather the Covid storm well. My parents and brother are almost recovered, saying it was more like a bad cold than the more deadly Delta variant would have been. So returning your good wishes for 2022 and fingers crossed it will be the same for you. And are those clay pipe fishes your work? They are fab.

    Happy 1st WOYWW of 2022!

  2. So very sorry to hear you’ve had Covid my friend. What we’ve had isn’t Covid this time but we ready are struggling to shake it off...I’m wondering if having had Covid last October has affected our ability to recover? I really hope you recover well. Look after yourself....you haven’t said if the welder has had it too?

  8. I’m sorry you’ve had covid and been so rough Lynn, thank goodness you’re starting to pick up now. Thank goodness for vaccinations which help against the worst of the symptoms. Look after yourself and don’t do too much too soon.
Happy 2022, may it be full of fun and crafting!

  9. So sorry to hear you had Covid. Hope you're on the mend. It's all about rest and not pushing yourself too much. I'm a long hauler (March 2020) and it absolutely astounds me to learn that people in similar circumstances have been left to their own devices to get better. My GP's have practically gone to ground, never to be seen for almost two years. I feel like I'm just emerging from a very long tunnel of ill health but I will get there (with the help of much more medication than I was previously taking, pre-Covid). Take care of yourselves. x

  12. I'm so sorry you've had Covid and you've been so poorly with it. I did wonder why you hadn't been around, put it down to the holidays and didn't think for one minute you were ill. Love you 2022 banner and the images are so appropriate given what's still going on at the moment. Take care and take it easy. This is not the time to push yourself too much. Elizabeth x #28

  17. Aw Lynn, I thought your FB was quiet because you were probably away doing the Christmas gadabout. Am so sorry you’ve been poorly, and like you, am deeply grateful that you haven’t needed intervention. I’ve just said to Cindy that I think we’re now all destined to get it, it’s just too rampant. Meanwhile though, I’ll be very happy to see you back with needle in hand and doing brilliant things with normal objets! Love to you for a recovered and happy 2022.xxx
