Pearls and cowboys

Hello deskhoppers, I’ve not really got anything to share this week as we’ve had a busy time celebrating our pearl wedding anniversary (30 years) and enjoying the fact that we have been together for 40 years.  What an achievement, it’s gone so quickly.

It’s also Philip’s 70th birthday on Saturday and he has a twin sister Elena. For the gift bags  I’ve printed off a photo of the two of them and then machine stitched a heart shape onto it before adding some ribbons that came from our nephews wedding day last month.  Here’s another I did with a photo taken from things on my Welsh dresser.

We are off to a country music festival at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool for three days on Friday.  Gawd help me,  it’s not my thing.   The things we do for love and I do love the wandering welder.  Well I must do, I’m still here after 40 years yeehah !  As they say in Nashville heehee.  Bring it on Dolly.

Hopefully there’ll be time for some craft/stitch work before next weeks’ desk hop.

Have a good week
Lynn x

  3. Hi Lynn, and Happy Anniversary to you both. And Happy Birthday to Hubby too. Fortunately, me & my Hubby have the same music taste- a pair of heavy metal fans, lol,- so we both enjoy the same concerts. Not a C&W fan, I'm afraid. Have a lovely break, Hugs, Shaz #6 X
