WOYWW - Empty desk syndrome

I had a bit of a scramble round under and around this desk this morning when I couldn’t find my purse.
Turns out it had fallen out of my bag in the restaurant we were in on Sunday.
I feel so lucky to have got it back.

I thought you might like to see the recycled notebooks I got for Christmas aren’t they fabulous. They’re made from recycled old books and the spine is made into an attached bookmark.  The pages are a mix of plain paper and original story pages.

These little fellas are waiting for me to pop over to Julia’s blog to see what you’ve all been upto at your work desks.

  2. It's a good feeling when someone gives back something so personal or precious. My Hubby once lost his wallet at a City Bonfire event when the children were younger and it was handed in at the lost and found. It's nice to know there are good people out there.
Beautiful repurposed note books and sweet little hedgehogs.

  5. Phew indeed, I had my purse stolen once at restaurant by a waiter but it too came back, curiously because I reported it to police the owner did some sleuthing and found the culprit! Then I’d didn thave cards as well as cash. Now spew carry so much in our wallet.
Well... an empty desk syndrome, definitely never here! And LOVE the note books. Are they complete stories too? I’d want the complete story!

  8. Your desk looks wonderful even when there's nothing on it... and those folded bookpapers are marvelous! Always wanted to do that but there's not enough time in the day to start a new project/craft... Happy woyww and a hug from Holland. Marit #20

  9. HI Lynne, oh my that is such a panic when that happens. So good you got it back. Doug accidentally left his bank card in the card reader at Tesco a few weeks ago, and didn't realise till the next day. Fortunately, Customer Services had it. Either a member of staff, or an honest person, saw it and gave it to them. Fab notebooks, what an original idea. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 X
