I'm not here

I'm not here, I'm in Inverness visiting friends.
I bought this handmade shawl and hand warmers and the profits go to a charity for disadvantaged children.  I'll be wearing them in the winter when I'm sat at my desk so I think it counts as What's on my work desk don't you.

And here we are on Nairn beach, me and my buddy
Mo Allan.  Some of you may know her as Twinkle Toes.

I'll be back at my desk next week with the travelling pinny that has arrived back in Whitworth waiting for me to add my piece before it travels on again. It started its life in Australia,  has been to Africa, America, several places in the U.K. and will continue its journey as long as there is someone who wants to add a piece of embroidery to it.

Loving the hand warmers - I call mine beer mittens, perfect for gripping a can on a chilly festival night.
    Have fun! xxx

  2. Great pic of you and your mate! I like the outfit you're wearing very much. The travelling apron sounds like a great project to be involved with, is there any space left on it?!

  3. What an amazing project; the travelling pinny. How big is it and is there a rule about how much space your embroidery can take up? Happy WOYWW Sarah #18

  6. How lovely to get an item to get in the mail and pass on with an addition. I notice in your photo that your purse and dress match. How fun is that? Thanks for sharing, even though you are not there. :) #30

  10. Look at you two making the beach like a photo shoot! Nice to see Twinkle Toes. Love the shawl and mitts, nice idea, and so much nicer than my ragged old 'workdesk' cardi! Love the apron, will look forward to more about it.
