What's on my workdesk today

I got these curtains ages ago in the charity shop with the intentions of putting them up in the bedroom. Well they never got there because they were to short. So my friend is making me a skirt out of them.

With the pieces that are left I have cut around the some of the flowers
and I am making her a Thank You card
She is also making me a dress from another curtain that I had
I saw one of my Goddaughters using a card system to keep a track of her school work
and I have pinched the idea for things I might do or things that inspire me.
I've attached photographs to index cards, punched holes in and held them together with a ring.
Time for a pop over to Julia's place to see what other people are working on.

WHAT'S ON MY WORKDESK TODAY .......

Phase one of the grand clear up and reorganising is finished as far as it's going for now.
I've moved onto what is officially our business office but is overun
with all my craft stash

I cleared all the debris off the top of the drawers and stacked these units on it, now I'm going through ALL of these drawers one by one.
Don't anybody give me any more lace or trims please.
I'm drowning in it.
I won't tell you how long it took me to go through the bead bin but I was losing the will to live by the end of it
How do we accumulate so much stuff.
I can see you all agreeing, we crafters are all the same, hee hee
Help I need to come up for air.
Think I'll have a look round some desks before I get back in there.

PS. IF YOU WANT TO SEE WHAT THE LADIES MADE ON SATURDAYS WORKSHOP

What's on my workdesk today .......

I can't believe I've been at this clearing up malarky for a week.
Most days I feel as if I'm not getting anywhere.
Can you see the old wooden pegs they've made great ribbon holders.

I've got to hurry up a bit now as I have six ladies arriving on Saturday
for the first of my 2016 craft workshops

These are some of the lovely papers the ladies will be using. Hope they like them.
This is just a small section of my books, I had to work really hard to not start flicking through them.
If you ever hear me saying again I'm having a clearing up session
please scream loudly "NO DON'T DO IT"

Time for a quick hop around some desks before its back to the grind.

TIDY WORKSPACE = CREATIVE MIND

Happy new year everyone
I am giving myself the whole of January to get my workroom in order.
I can't find anything, including the carpet and I am a person who needs a clear space to be able to create.
TIDY WORKSPACE = CREATIVE MIND
This is the teeny tiniest bit of my stuff. Multiply it by 10 at least and add on another room which is even worse.
I quickly realised that I would not get it done in a couple of days as I am such a faffer.
Things take me forever to do because I get easily sidetracked, like realising these old wooden pegs would make great holders for ribbons, wires and threads.
Once I've gone through all my stuff and possibly moved everything round the studio
I want to go through my books.  This will, of course, end up with me looking through them all.
So you can see why it will take all of January, apart from the time spent doing my first workshop on the 16th.
But more of that next week. For now I better crack on.
That is after a quick cuppa and a look at what everyone else is doing at their desks this week.
