If you’re looking for me I’m in the garden

All the actions in the garden this week.

New garden furniture in memory of my lovely Auntie Gladys.
Getting our social corner ready for beer, tea and chat.

All welcome.

This is my rusty corner

Mediterranean wall

We are not opposed to a bit of fakery either

We do have some real stuff as well

This is where the old pond was sited.
The wandering welder did a fabulous job of filling in the hole.

We have the odd ceramic mouse in the ivy.
Oh I thought everyone had one.

Stay safe and enjoy the sunshine.
More garden tales soon.

Sorry there’s no desk Julia

  1. Oh how lovely does your garden grow. Amazing job on that infill where the old pond was. He's a keeper, that lad of yours! I'm off to make myself a 'rusty corner' now. Thanks for inspiration, Lynn. (I think Auntie Gladys would have heartily approved of your new furniture, it's perfect).

  4. Thank you for the tour of the garden - I love it - and especially love your rusty corner. We have little mice like that but they are real! We found them while cleaning the garage recently - they are so sweet but they have eaten the garden waste bags - I think yours are a better bet!
Have a great week and enjoy your beautiful garden

  7. What a lovely way to remember someone special by buying garden furniture in their memory. Now when you sit in it you can think of it as aunty putting her arms around you and keeping you cosy. I think that is lovely - and your rusty corner - and your Mediterranean bit - in fact all of it.

  11. I love rusty corner and what a fabulous garden set you've treated yourselves to, Auntie Gladys would love those, wouldn't she?
You'd not know there was ever a pond there if you hadn't mentioned it, Philip's a clever lad. xxx
PS Jon's bought some oxygenating plants for our pond and they're working their magic already. He ordered online from Wetland Plants UK, you might have to wait a couple of weeks for delivery but they're excellent.

  16. What a gorgeous garden, Lynn! So interesting with its different levels and all the features - I love the ecclectic collection of pots and pans and things! Well done moving the pond as well. The Wandering Welder has done a beautiful job filling and repaving the hole - in a year or two when it's weathered a bit, you won't be able to tell.

Thank you for your visit - glad you enjoyed my garden shots too. It's so lovely being able to sit out, isn't it. BTW, love your new garden furniture!

    Happy belated WOYWW,
