Hello to the lovely folk over at What’s On Your Work Desk Wednesday.
Doesn’t the week pass quickly. Thank you for dropping by to see what I’ve been up to since last week.
The hours I’ve spent fiddling with the new iPad are starting to pay off.
I can do Zoom meetings and selfies on it now.
Tuesday morning zoom Pilates class.
I’ve had a good chuckle at my posing selfie. Don’t want to waste a good outfit.
I rather like my urchin pants but don’t think the wandering welder does.
What does he know. Have you seen his daywear.
Boiler suit and slippers.
Down to business - Stuff on my desk.
It looks like I’m competing with Julia for how much stuff I can fill it with.
There’s a reason for the mess though, I knew once I started with that patchwork
wall last week that I’d get carried away and not be able to stop.
Look what happened, it’s spreading round the room.
Still a bit more to do so no point in tidying up yet.
I hope everyone is well and happily crafting to pass the time.
It’s encouraging and inspiring seeing what everyone is up to.
Take care lovely friends.
See you next week, but feel free to pop back I’m here most days.
Lynn

OMG! That wall is fabulous! Love it so much I am breathless. The outfit is nice enough but the wall overshadows all.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW - NOT at the hospital today but with a thumping headache yet determined to WOYWW nonetheless! Best day of my week…

Well, I can zoom and do selfies but I have not a clue how to meld/weld photos together like you have in your first picture. That is very clever workings.
ReplyDeleteLove the patchwork wall or is it just a frieze? Love it anyhow. You have such good taste.
Take care and stay safe and well, Hugs, Neet 9 xx
It’s pieces of vintage wallpaper.. I use an app called PhotoGrid to make the photo collage Neet. It’s easy to use.
DeleteTake care lovely friend xx
I love that the patchwork wall is spreading....bit like a pandemic only far prettier results. How lovely to see you're wearing breeches too....Reynard fox was so impressed ;-)
ReplyDeleteHugs,

Oh wow, I LOVE the patchwork walls, they look great! You’d better be careful or the whole house will end up like that, great way to use up your scraps though! Do you just go for it or are the paper choices considered? Love all the outfits on display too!!
ReplyDeleteHugs LLJ 4 xxx
I just go for it Jan. There’s no planning. Like most things I do. I think the modern term for that is organic Hee hee xxx
DeleteI absolutely love your patchwork wall - it's fabulous! I've not mastered Zooming but I'm glad you are getting to grips with your new technology. Have a happy crafty week. Elizabeth x #30
ReplyDeleteYou ladies who exercise are so disciplined. I love your new wall. Love your urchin pants and wel-jel of your craftroom. x
ReplyDeleteIt’s taken me a while to get into a routine. It’s given me a focus xx
DeleteOoooh that wall is so cool Lynn, I can see why it's getting extended. You definitely have the classier outfit too lol. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
ReplyDeleteYour urchin pants are brilliant, and I love the waistcoat and tie-neck blouse you're wearing with them! Infinitely better than a boiler suit and slippers :-) Your patchwork wall is coming along nicely and you certainly are a whizz with the iPad. I'm such a nitwit when it comes to technology, and wouldn't know how to do Zoom! xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you Ann. I love the Oliver Twist look. Diane Keaton the actress rocks it very well.
DeleteI’ve got a few problems with google crashing when I try to comment on folks blogs and reply on mine. Don’t know if that’s jis happening to me xxx
Oh I can see a few of us going for a patchwork wall - its really gorgeous. Love the outfits too - you always have such style! xx Jo
ReplyDeleteAn Instagram friend said she’s going to do a patchwork wall. Hope I don’t cause any domestics heehee xx
DeleteOh my gosh, I LOVE, LOVE your patchwork wall!! What an awesome idea!! Uplifting colors to always keep you spry!! Love it! Good job with figuring out the iPad!! Apple is not the platform me, but there isn't too much that doesn't baffle me these days, so .......! Great selfies by the way!! LOL Take care and stay healthy! Happy Wednesday! Felicia #28
ReplyDeleteWowsers, that wall looks incredible! well done with the ipad too. Hope you have a good week. take care, stay safe.. Helen #1
ReplyDeleteYou hubby looks great and I have to say I love his day wear but that might be because I have two similar overalls myself. They are great for any kind of jobs outside. I love your waistcoat, got a few of those too. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x18x
ReplyDeleteWho would have thought hubby would be a trendsetter. Boiler suits and slippers haha xx
DeleteI love everything about this! The catalogue poses are a delight! And I would SO wear a boiler suit with slippers. And that glorious patchwork on the walls! Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #10
ReplyDeleteThe wandering welder could set a new trend I’m thinking with his boiler suit and slippers haha
DeleteLove your urchin pants they are a great colour. My OH tends to wear his PJ's, dressing gown and slippers till quite late in the day and has managed somehow to lose one half of two set of pyjamas so he wears mismatching ones - it drives me up the wall! His birthday next week so I have bought him some new ones and will 'disappear' the odd ones. I love your patchwork wall, infact your whole room is pretty cool. I have barely had a chance to use my new ipad (keeps gettnig borrowed) but hopefully I will find time. Certainly better for zoom than my phone! Happy WOYWW, stay well, stay safe, Cindy xx #8
ReplyDeleteI’ve just bought the wandering welder a new pair of pjs, he looked such a tramp when he opens the door in the mornings to the postie who comes very early.
DeleteTake care Cindy xxx
Love the collage wall and the urchin pants! the wandering welder has no say in the matter. Your selfies are wonderful ~ Enjoy your week! Love, Karen#32
ReplyDeleteThat patchwork wall is gorgeous, I love it!
ReplyDeleteEven your excerise gear is stylish. The urchin pants are fab although if I had Philip's overalls on our stall there would be a stampede of hipsters after them, they're all the rage (or used to be in 2019!) xxx
The exercise gear is an old pair of trackies and a hand knitted tank top. I’ve got a Marks & sparks two piece set with go faster stripes that’s about 20 years old. I wear that when I go to proper classes. Xxx
DeleteLoving your gorgeous patchwork wall! The urchin pants are great - so practical and comfortable looking. Happy belated WOYWW. Take care and stay safe, with love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#14)
ReplyDeleteoh my, I love your patchwork wall. I like the urchin trousers too, do you wear long socks or tights with them? Have a great week Angela #15
ReplyDeleteI’ve got opaque tights on Angela. Lots of layers to keep out the cold. Enjoy your week too. Stay safe xxx
DeleteJust one word for the patchwork wall - AMAZING - love it wish I were so bold.
ReplyDeleteBJ#11
Hi Lynne! I love the patchwork wall, it reminds me of when I was in an apartment in my 20's, and I decided to collage my whole bathroom in green. I would have a party, and people would spend half an hour in the bathroom just looking at the wall! I also get a very nice warm "hygge" vibe from your desk, makes me want to come and play! Have a great week, and stay safe! Lindart #34
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your posts,Lynn! This time I roared with laughter and shared with my hubby - love your outfit - great trousers and what a lovely colour combination (isn't it fun, doing fashion poses on WOYWW?) and then your hubby in his boiler suit and SLIPPERS lol lol!! And your absolutely fabulous patchwork wall! That is such a cool idea and it looks brilliant - so bright, and you will look at it and remember where all the different papers came from, like with a patchwork quilt. I've got so many teabags now... I wonder if a teabag wall would work...
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi x #24
I think the patchwork is a brilliant idea. Years ago I painted leaves sort of climing all around the the kitchen walls, the bungalow had so many gaps and rotton bits that ivy was trying to get in. So I thought it might hide it! My hubby lives in his dark grey or navy overalls, (near enough!) years ago, he'd be working on his car or motor bikes and I'd be baby sitting his little sister or supplying the tea or coffee. I think there's something kinda sexy! But he wears steal capped boots..not slippers! Your trousers look very comfy! Stay safe, stay WArm too! Happy Late WOYWW!? ((Lyn)) #16 oops, its seems I'm #17 now!
