The gate, a box and a lovely album ....... WOYWW

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by last week.  Your lovely comments made my day.

Well what a turn in the weather, it’s never stopped raining and the garden gate display is a poor show until the sun gets his hat on again.

Now to the matter in hand before Mrs Dunnit has my guts for garters again.   

The desk ..............

A neighbour gave me this wooden box ages ago.  It originally had cheese, biscuits and port from M&S in it.  She knew I’d find a use for it.

So the plan is to paint it up, add vintage wallpaper to the back, some flooring and create little rooms. I’ve all sorts of bits and pieces to put in it. 

I’m also making a book bag for this precious album that has a date inside of 1919 and has pages of  paintings and verses, all done by different  people for the original owner of the book.

Now please all stay safe and stay local the bad stuff isn’t over yet.  We are lucky that we can check in on each other every Wednesday  and chat about what we have or haven’t worked on,  thanks to Mrs D.  Hopefully I won’t be sent to the naughty step this week for waffling on.
