Storytelling ................

Last week I started clearing out my workroom and here’s the end result.  A freshly painted wall, tidiness and calm.

An Instagram friend sent me some of her beautiful paintings and I’ve added one to the collection of things on top of my cabinet.

I’ve sat in my room looking round, letting it show me what direction to take next.  Might sound fanciful but it worked.

And I was drawn to the wool children’s garment I’ve had for ages and not done anything with.

Out came the red thread and these words appeared 

My mood has been a bit low recently but that’s okay because from it “Lockdown Stories” are appearing.

There could be more, who knows, I’m just going with it.

When I looked at this tiny dolls gown, these words popped into my head 

“I’m to small to be burdened with all this”

I know I may sound a bit glum,  but outside the garden gate displays are still going strong with passersby loving them and returning time and again to see what’s out this week.  So I just need to flick on the happy switch in my head and normal service will be resumed.

In the meantime I’ve pen and notepad at the ready for whatever story pops into my head next.
