Hello desk hoppers
I’m still knitting and I’ve made this wall hanging from fabric scraps.
I also mounted this small piece of layered fabrics onto card with words from the Average White Band song “Let’s go round again”. I’m going to give it Philip at Easter when we will be celebrating 40 years together.
In the meantime I need to think about breaking my Mary Jane Pob shoes in as they’re crippling me haha.
Hope you all have a creative week over at
I just love your wall hanging - how clever and such a good likeness for you and the other half.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations too on the coming anniversary - are you sure you got the number correct? You don't look old enough to have been together for so long.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx

Love the piece that you’re go8ng to give to Phil...I’m singing that song now....probably for the rest of the day! Keep knitting!

ReplyDeleteThe wall hanging is gorgeous, and the mini Lynn and Philip figures made me smile. Those shoes are divine (as is the rest of your outfit), hope you'll be able to break them in soon. Seeing Vix's advise on the shoes, I'd like to add: take a comfortable spare pair ;-) xxx
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your upcoming 40th anniversary, Lynn. I think he'll appreciate the layered piece - the lyrics seem most appropriate. Liking, too, the wallhanging - it's a lovely way to use up scraps of fabric. Have a good week - hope those shoes ease up for you. Elizabeth x #31
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn, love your style. Love the shoes and sure you'll soon have them comfy. Have a great woyww,Angela x15x
ReplyDeleteHi Lynne, love the minis and wall hanging and the words on your pressie for DH are most appropriate for your Ruby anniversary, a big congrats. If shoes are leather, stuff them with scrunched up wet newspaper and poked down firmly with wooden spoon to stretch wet leather ... then allow to dry thoroughly and will help with less pain,
