I’m thinking about it.
I’ve got a whole day to myself so I’m drawing up a list of the things I want and could do.
The housework, watch a film, do the ironing,
do something useful, faff about,
Visit a friend, read a book, stitch,
wrap Christmas presents, write cards
Go for a walk, visit a favourite place, go out for lunch

Bake a cake.
Stay in bed
What would you do ?

Ooh, the luxury of time for yourself....I think I'd try to fit in all your suggestions! Have fun whatever you end up doing :-)

Looking out of the window today I can see the appeal of staying in bed!
ReplyDeleteJon's got surprises lined up for me over the next couple of days but other than deliver the accounts to the accountant I'm not sure what today will bring! xxx
I'd join you for tea and a slice of that yummy cake :)
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!

A day to dream... the possibilities are endless Lynn. How ever you choose to use it make it count!

Morning Lynn. Well... as it's currently throwing it down with rain here in North Wales, I probably wouldn't go for a walk... a jigsaw maybe, a hot chocolate.... make the cards for my daughters and hubbies... write to a few folks from WOYWW - or maybe a complete mix of all those.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day - enjoy your decision!
Take care. God bless.

With the exception of housework I think your list is perfectly tempting and I'm not sure what I would choose from it though I'd love to join you for tea and that cake. Have a wonderful week, whatever you choose to do. Elizabeth x #25
ReplyDeleteYou will do something more than staying in bed I am sure - not sure that wont be my first choice when I get the bedroom finished - hate these early mornings.
ReplyDeleteLove your skirt and petticoat.

Hi Lynne, icky weather up here, so I'd go for an indoors choice. Curling up with a book & a cake sounds good, lol. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 X
ReplyDeleteEverything in your world looks so delightful from the gorgeous bed linen and cushions to the pretty teacups and homemade cake - I hope you got to do it all today.

hope you had a good day, whatever you decided... I definitely wouldn't stay in bed (hate that!) but most of the other options sound good! helen #3
ReplyDeleteI don't often have the day to myself but when I do there's so many things I want to do that I end up doing nothing but faffing around! Staying in bed sounded like a good idea this morning but alas! I wonder what you did ... xxx
ReplyDeleteI did quite a lot Ann. Didn’t go out as it never stopped raining. I did the filing, a job I detest. Wrote a pile of Christmas cards and wrapped a pile of Christmas presents. So it was more of a practical day than a faffing one.
DeleteIve got the urge now for a day of watching films and eating cake haha.
Off out with my best friend tomorrow so that will be nice.
Got a CT scan on Friday for my back. The consultant will then look at that and the MRI scan together and give me the results from there. Wish me luck xxx
Hi Lynn, that was one massive list. The weather's been a stinker here too so very little outdoor activity today. Hope you had a great time whatever you chose to do. Have a great woyww and a happy creative week, Angela x16x
ReplyDeleteI hope that whatever you chose to do your day was a good one Lynn. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
ReplyDeleteI'd go for a walk, read a book, visit a friend. What did you get up to? :)
ReplyDeleteThe rain poured down all day and the wind was blowing a gale so I stayed home, wrote Christmas cards, wrapped presents and did some office work.
DeleteSo it was really a functional day. I made up for it the day after with a fun day out with my best friend :)
