More Cumbrian tales

In Coniston every summer a vintage shop is set up in the village hall.  We visited it during the last week and there were plenty of bargains to be had with most things half price.  I can't show you what I bought yet as some are presents.

We were out for the day with lovely Instagram friend Maria aka Rosey Tinted Spectacles from Ulverston.

We visited the wonderful vegetarian restaurant Chesters by the River at Skelwith near Ambleside.  It has a brilliant shop as well full of really attractive looking books and gifts.  Soon filled my basket with goodies.
