What I mean is
I've never worn trousers so much in my life
as I have this year
Will someone tell the weatherman that I've got nice summer frocks
hanging in my wardrobe waiting to be worn.
At this rate I will be putting a vest on
Come on Mr Sunshine put in an appearance
we only get one heating allowance in this house.
Hasn't the weather been horrible? You've got some groovy trousers there, but you've got to think of those poor, unworn dresses too! I love the bag and brown shoes in photo no. 2! xxx
ReplyDeleteI wear those Clarks shoes all the time Ann and wish I had them in different colours xxx
DeleteWould that I could be so glam in this hideaous weather! My lovely friend Liz said tha tits because it rained on St Swithin's day and she promised me that after 40 days from then, it'll be fantastic again....!
ReplyDeleteShe's not wrong that's what Philip says. He always quotes it as it was his mum's birthday and she used to say it
DeleteI'm loving the cooler, rainy weather (I don't do Summer), and the garden's looking SO shiny and green :D
ReplyDeleteYes, the weather has been dreadful for weeks. I've given in and have started dragging my cardigans and jackets out of the wardrobe. I'm sure all the poor southern Wuropeans sweltering in their heatwave wish they could swap with us for a week or two.
ReplyDeleteLoving the trousers in pic 5 and the suede jacket in pic 6!
ReplyDeleteHasn't it been vile? When you work outside like us, the vest is never far away (or the fingerless gloves, fake fur coat and woolly hat!) I'm keeping sane by searching for flights outta here! xxx
