Deep discussions went on yesterday at the fabulous
Vintage Village Stockport www.thevintagevillage.co.uk
on whether to ditch the Kawasaki motorbike in
favour of a more sedate Lambretta or Vespa.
While Mr Dapper Chap pondered over the situation we watched the lovely traders receive their awards for favourite traders of the Vintage Market.
Among them our friend Pat of Vintage Affair.
Pat & Matthew sell gorgeous crockery at reasonable prices.
More pondering, this time on whether to invest
in another ISA or blow it on a Vespa
All that talk of scooters left me in the need of cake, so it was a quick five minutes down the road to the Vintage Emporium for a quick fix.
I am going to be trawling the charity shops in search of odd chairs to give my kitchen the same homely feel as the Emporium's tearoom
PHOTO'S OF OUR LATEST FINDS LATER
Looks like a wonderful day, and cakes! Thanks for linking up,

What a fab way to spend a Sunday, and those cakes look delicious. Coffee and walnut for me s'il vous plait ;)
ReplyDeleteHas the transport decision been made? xx
I think next year may well see the exit of the Ninja and one if not two scooters putting in an appearance. Frida might have to shift over a bit though lol xx
DeleteYou two looked as fabulously stylish as ever. Where on earth did Mr Dapper find that jacket? Must have been a great vintage trader. xxx
ReplyDeleteHmm ! Now let me think. I'm sure it was a good looking bloke with a gorgeous other half xxxx
DeleteCertainly looks like you had a fun day out (and a dapper one at that!). Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteLooking fabulous in that dress! And those cakes, judging by their looks, might have been simply delicious.
