Had to laugh ....

This photograph appeared in the Daily Mail today.

It is Sir Tom Jones snogging the face of Miss World Marjorie Wallace in 1974
Now who thinks that my vintage frock was designed
by the same person that made Tom's shirt.
Or, maybe his shirt was upcycled and made into my dress haha.
While we have got an orange thing going on and talking of vintage, here's the frock I will be sporting at Vintage Village Stockport on Sunday.  Along with my £1 retro necklace and charity shop cap.

Happy Friday

  4. Love it Lynn :-) Thanks for that smile.....my hubby's claim to fame is that Sir Tom bought him a pint in a pub in Wales once [he actually bought everyone in there one but don't tell anyone will you?]....not sure he was wearing that shirt though :-)
    Have a great week.

  5. Hi Lynn. I had the biggest crush on Tom Jones! I agree, your smock had to have been designed by the same person. It's cool that vintage is coming back in style. I love seeing the outfits you've found!

  12. I somehow missed your blog on the 9th. But I'm glad I'm here now. Great clothes! I was 23 in 1974 and wore stuff like that. Everything was orange and brown. House interiors too. All very dark indoors.
    Thanks for taking me back...
