Do you remember these two watercolours from last week that I wrecked.
This is how the snowdrop ended up
and this is what I did to the other.
After that I held the last in a series of three papercrafting workshops I put on for craft beginners. See the bigger picture here HAPPY CRAFTERS
Didnt they do well. They are in 15"x15" deep box frames like this one available from The Range in the UK for £12.99
Don't forget to pop over to Julia's to see what other people have been upto
The snowdrop looks gorgeous in that box frame and that's a good price for the frame too - I feel a trip to the Range coming on! The rosettes are fabulous and I particularly love the paler, musical one - very classy!
ReplyDeleteoo i might have to go to the range......
ReplyDeletelovely projects
thanks for sharing :)

Lynn, thanks so much for your visit already. I've been out and about visiting everyone on the list today--but you are a regular stop for me, because I always love your work. Today is no exception. I could look at that framed piece you created all day. I would not have thought to use the black thread - but that is what makes it stunning. Happy WOYWW #300! Sandy Leigh #58
ReplyDeleteYou've had a busy/creative week Lynn. Looking forward to seeing Saturday's makes ((hugs)) :o) xx
ReplyDeleteWow, I LOVE that machine stitching over the watercolour - such a clever technique that is most effective. I must give it a go one day.
ReplyDeleteYour ladies did do well, those layered flowers are fab and look amazing in that deep frame :-)
Happy 300th WOYWW!

ReplyDeleteI love what you did to the watercolours. The sewing really makes them pop. The little flowers are gorgeous. They look so hard to make but are so effective.

Hi Lynn,
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't call those watercolors botched! I do love what you've done with them. The flowers all look great and your self portrait is adorable!
The reason I'm knitting the sweater in the round is because I don't like sewing pieces together!
Thanks for visiting me already!
Happy belated 300 WOYWW
Hugs,
Kay
Those watercolors look pretty amazing to me, the way you altered and added to them is inspired!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great show you have on your desk for us this week Lynn. Enjoyed every minute of it - so bright and colourful too.
