What's on my workdesk today ...............

Ages ago a friend bought me an A4 Moleskine book and I have been waiting for the right opportunity to use it.
While I've been doing the ICAD (Index Card A Day) challenge, I find I am scribbling my initial ideas on bits of paper.
So I thought why not use the book to scribble and stick things in.
This is what's in it so far.
Time for a look round some more desks now
here in Julia's gang

  5. Perfect use for a gifted Moleskine...unless you're Oscar Wilde and can fill it with writings! Your birds have so much personality that I'm not surprised to see you can give any animal the same!

  8. Great pages. I had a beautiful sketchbook bought for me years ago by my daughter and I was always saving it for something special. I started using it for the 29 faces challenge and it is now well used. As it should be.

  10. Hi Lynn,

Very cool! The elephants are so fun. Clever how the vase is holding the flowers. I really need to get back to doodling.

  16. In reply to your question about what I am going to use all the cards for well I have already been using them in my collage.. They are fun to copy on the printer and then cut up bits for borders and bodies of people in my Artstronauts journal.. I love to reuse my art in my collage pieces.. What are you going to use your IDAD's for??

    1. What a great idea Sandy, I'd never have thought of copying them.
I've given some to friends as postcards, swapped some, framed some and put one on the front of a book

  17. I too have a habit of saving journals, thinking they need some wonderful project created in them rather than something useful. I like your idea.I will remember it the next time I start to save a journal for something special.
Question: In the hoto of your wall, how are your collage attached to the wall? I am reorganizing my office and want to something similar with my work rather keep it in binders. Enjoyed my visit today. Diane #51

    1. I used cork tiles Diane. I couldn't get hold of adhesive ones so I used strong double sided tape

  18. Great idea to use the moleskin journal to put all those techniques and ideas. Intrigued by the ICAD and saw it mentioned in Sandy's post. Great ideas from you both.
