Still working on the Index Card A Day challenge
These are made with paper napkins that my friend Mo sent me.
They make great toppers for cards, I've actually framed some, given one as a gift and added one to the front of a book.
This one I've made into a little wall hanging
Time for a look round some more desks now.

Good morning. I'm just doing a quick run round my favourite blogs before starting my sewing...and boy have I got some to do today :-)
ReplyDeleteWow Lynn I love your creations this week.
Hugs,
Annie x #25
Morning Lynn, lovely work as usual, you put me to shame....my workdesk is sadly neglected at the moment.
ReplyDeleteCan I be cheeky and ask where you get your large kilt pins from in the last photo?
Xxxxxx
I got them at Sizergh Barn in south lakes. I'm trying to source them elsewhere Lyn. I will let you know if I find any.
DeleteYou could always have a trip up there haha x x x x
What size are you looking for Lynn? xx
DeleteThe ones I have came in a set of 3 and are 6" 7" & 8" but any size is fine x
DeleteThanks Lynn, yes a trip up there would be nice! Xxx
DeleteWell now, those cards are clever and oh so pretty! What a fab idea to make it into a hanging too...I like the free machining as well, gotta get on and learn how to do that!
ReplyDeleteHugs, LLJ 15 xx
Ooh, I love your cards - the flower is stunning and I love the teapot one too - is that fabric or background paper? It would look fab on a kitchen wall (why am I picturing all your work hanging on my walls?!). I also love the setting where you do your sewing - how wonderful to be looking out at your garden garden as you sit and work - Kiki looks very interested in what you are doing doesn't she!
ReplyDeleteThe teapot is a paper napkin Diana. I framed a couple after your idea about it. X
DeleteLet's see the framed ones Lynn, it's a good idea :D xx
DeleteWill show them in next post x

ReplyDeleteLynn, those are amazing! Love how you did the wall hanging. I forget sometimes how many pretty designs are on paper napkins and how we can repurpose them into art. Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #60

Hi Lynn,
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely creations - and from napkins! Do you have Tuesday Mornings stores in the UK? They always have a great selection of napkins at a discounted price. I hope the doodly birds aren't getting jealous - with you branching out!
Thank you for visiting me already!
Happy WOYWW
