What's on my workdesk today .........

This week I had this lovely piece of vintage fabric sent me and a piece of lace by Heather who is doing the same embroidery course as me.  I sent her some in return to include in her work.
This is the block I am working on now. The aim is to stitch all the blocks  together and make a wrapping cloth.  Bit like a small quilt.

As we speak I am finishing off stitching these four squares with French Knots.
This weeks tutorial was learning how to make these Funky Fabric Puffs which will later be added to the finished cloth.
I have laid them on the block to show how they will look.
Have a look what everyone else has been upto this week and thank you for following along while I learn to stitch and all your lovely comments.

    1. The thing about it Julia is I've learned to slow down, you can't rush this sewing malarky and I am normally one for quick results. It's quite soothing while you sit watching a bit of telly.
