Lucy Bishop's lino printing workshop was a great success yesterday at Castleton, Rochdale.
Everyone taking part thoroughly enjoyed it.
LOOK AT THIS FANTASTIC BAG BY KAREN HAYNES |
Its hard to believe that Lyn of www.lyn-everydaylife.blogspot.co.uk
had'nt done it before. She was a natural.
Gillian was a natural too and you could see she brought her talent for zentangling into her flower and leaf designs
We even managed to bring a bit of a Christmas theme into it
What would a workshop be without a pile of books to look through while you have a cuppa
The day was made even more lively by a stream of visitors dropping in to see what we were upto.
Next Saturday Lucy holds another session with participants coming from Liverpool, Bolton, Blackpool amongst other places. So it is sure to be another great day. I will be there me making lots of cups of tea and coffee.
I'm really excited to see what people are going to do.
This is a really interesting activity and one I have wanted to try. These makes are beautiful and I can understand why everyone loved the workshop so much...hand made stamps are tops :)

ReplyDeleteWould you recommend any of the books?? I'd love to learn!
I've ordered the Laura Bethmann one HAND PRINITNG FROM NATURE, to help me along. Next week I will have a closer look at the books and pick out the best for beginners Gill.
