Zendoodling at Sunnybank

My friend Rev. Gillian Peel from the Rochdale Unitarian Church kindly gave up some of her holiday time to come and show the members of our Sunnybank Craft Club the art of Zendoodling.  The cards above are our results.  Didnt we all do well !
Look at the deep concentration going on.  Everyone was very mindful of what they were doing.
These are our practice sheets before we committed ourselves to making cards.
A big thank you to Gillian for a class that was very different and very enjoyable.
I also want to slip in the paper patchwork cards Susan made with the members at the last session that I missed.
Even though they all look the same if you study them closely you will see they are different.

  2. Wow Lynn, those zen-doodles that the class did are just amazing, it is such a fun thing to do and really takes a lot of concentration - good for forgetting one's worries. Love Susan's class cards too. Hope all is well with you. Crafty hugs, Anne x

  3. What a fantastic job they all did. Am I right in assuming the Rev Peel does tangling herself then? Be nice to see some of her own work too, does she blog? (I have a funny feeling she started one? Or am I thinking of someone else?)
Those patchwork cards are ever so pretty. The folks at Sunnybank are so lucky to have such talented people go in and help them use their creativity. :0) xx

  4. Hi Lynn,

The whole zentangle process is interesting isn't it. I took a class over the weekend from Suzanne McNeill. I'm hoping to incorporate my doodling with the zentangles and just have fun with it.

The paper piece cards are very cute. Yes, I can see the personality in each card.

    Hugs,
    Kay
