These lovely bits and pieces came from the Creative Craft event at GMEX last week
I particularly like this black lace effect paper
and this white acetate.
We went in search of some basic shape diecutters to put with the kit that our very generous friend Anne Redfern gave us. We reported back to Anne what we had bought and got the seal of approval.
Along with my friends Susan and Ruth we are going to have a papercrafting workshop at my home and then invite Anne back to show us some more techniques.

Helen Whitcombe is making these fantastic crochet buntings and has sent me the BABY one as a sample to show you all.

ReplyDeleteHi Lynn,
ReplyDeleteThe black lace paper looks like REAL black lace! Very nice. I also like the die cuts that you bought. I still don't have too many.
I really like how your booth looks! The bunting certainly adds some pizazz, doesn't it. I hope your friend is successful with her bunting venture. They are absolutely beautiful (and a lot of work)!
I'll be visiting desks pretty much all this week.
Happy WOYWW

ReplyDeleteGorgeous buntings and what fabulous finds you made at the show. I thought it was real lace at first but what a terrific way to have the effect on your cardstock creations.
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing us - Hugs, Neet 84 xx
Lots of lovely new goodies to play with Lynn. I thought that was actual Black lace when I first saw that paper, isn’t it just gorgeous. Trouble is, if I had it I wouldn’t want to use it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Crafting!

Hi Lynn, sorry to say but both links are for your post dated 5th September. Crafty hugs, Anne x #82
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn,
ReplyDeleteGreat finds there. I think I could ask you a quick question what can you use on cotton and fabric bags to get a soft image colouring in a stamped image? Someone wants me to do this and I'm really at sea with it>
Xjulie(paperpathway)
Hi Julie,
DeleteI use fabric markers, permanent markers, promarkers on the canvas bags I do. Some of them come out softer than others. It may pay you to play around with different pens and fabric paints until you get the effect you are after.
Also I would throw the question open to other bloggers to see what they think.
Hope you get sorted. If I think of anything else I'll get back to you.
Lynn :)
