I am creating this post as the counter clocks up 10,000 page views. WOW - Thank you.
I'm a bit taken aback by that and again am a bit speechless.  So I think I will just get on with it.
Here is the tag I have made for this weeks TAG TUESDAY CHALLENGE with the theme
This is my C.R.E.A.T.I.O.N collection
Create, Recycle,Everyone And Together Improve Our Nation

Its origin comes from when I used to walk my dog Bobby over the moors.
I was well known for picking up things I FOUND as we went along.
It got to a point were neighbours would bring me sticks, wire, stones anything they thought would be of use to me. It was not unusual to see me with half a discarded gate under my arm.
From my finds I created the pieces you can see below including the tag for today.
The Doodly Birds want to say a big thank you to the TAG TUESDAY friends for all the good wishes you sent on the launch of their new webstore and vow to be back next week.
(as you can imagine they are not happy being left out)

  1. Wow, 10,000 page views, that really is some achievement, those doodly birds must be out there drumming up even more support for you - well done and so well deserved. Love your tag and all those other creations, I am just wondering whether your middle name is magpie by any chance......

  2. Hi Lynn,

Congrats on 10,000 page views! I think I've noticed some of your other found art in your header? I always enjoy picking up things during walks - odd shaped rocks, pennies that have been on the ground a very long time. I once went to a house that was being demolished and picked up a bird feeder and some stones for an aquarium. There was a bike but didn't take that. The house had been abandoned for months and the house was partially destroyed by the backhoe.

  3. Congratulations on your 10,000 page views - that's great news.
I love the tag - it's so effective, and I just love your photo mosaic - it's lovely to see all the pieces of work that I have just had tantalizing glimpses of on your blog banner!!! Just one concern though - not a doodly bird in sight !?!

  4. You do beautiful work! I enjoyed visiting and checking your blog out.
Thanks for playing along this week on the Use Your Stuff challenge blog.

  5. Bye the way, I did a post about you a few days ago and completely forgot to tell you - Durr! Hope you don't mind. Also, what is the stone in the corner of your mosaic - have you put stitches on it or did you find it like that - I love it and find it intriguing. All your work is so inspiring.
