Cards, a Wall and a Doodly Bird

Last weekend I attended a stitch collage workshop at Anne Brooke's Studio in Brighouse. Here's a picture of the piece I made.  I've now made some cards with photographed images.

 I've also added the original to the revamped inspiration wall in my studio.

What's on your workdesk today......

The Doodly birds have been putting in an appearance this week.

They said its time we were given an airing and our feathers fluffed up a bit.

This is Deirdre the Duck a real fashionista on her way to the charity shops to see if she can grab any bargains.

A day around the house and garden ....

 On this sunny September day I washed my lovely hand Crotcheted cloth that a wonderful friend left me when she died many years ago.

Collected blackberries off the moor. 

How do you like my little table £12 from Age UK charity shop in Milnthorpe, Cumbria  and how about the two little ceramic birds for £1.50 each.

Still a bit of colour in the garden.

 Made a madeira cake

and KIKKI waited on the lane for her Dad to come home.
