I made a book bag for one of my favourite books.
I think I’ve shown you the book before - Doing What We Can by The Myrtles.
It’s a self penned book by seven Cornish textile/mixed media artist who are all friends. Each artist writing about how they came to be in Penzance, with fantastic photos of their homes, studio spaces and work
I made the bag with a piece of scrap fabric I had and some Suffolk Puffs to finish it off.
Don't look to close as my stitching is proper wonky. I'd never win a prize at the Embroiderers Guild for my sewing. The postcard I've attached to the front is of the work of Sue Dove, one of the Myrtle girls.
