Back to the future - Part Two

Part two of my workroom revamp during lockdown.

The stitch samples, cards, buttons and ephemera have gone.
Replaced by some canvases  I made years ago.  More about that next time.

The three little jars are wrapped in old book pages and bound with string and florist wire for fresh or faux flowers.

I’m keeping out some of my favourite pieces.  Things that are either pleasing to the eye and/or inspirational.

My once stuffed to the gunnels shelving now let’s me see my books better and there’s things on there that I might want to work with.

I’ve had this wool children’s garment for sometime and when I’m ready I’ll stitch a story onto it.    There’s a wall to be painted yet with a tin of chalk paint I found in a cupboard.

Then I’m going to sit awhile and see what the new layout inspires me to do.  It may be nothing other than appreciating the refreshed space.  Who knows.  It just feels nice for now.

to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.
