Mother’s Day treat.
86 years old and rocking her own style in her tartan pinafore and though you can’t see them she has coloured opaque tights and trendy ankle boots on.
Here she is with her friend of 55 years, my 80 year old glamorous Auntie Jill.
Aren’t they a gorgeous pair.
Never to old for a cuddle.
And she loved her pecking bird

If my Mum doesn’t make you smile nobody will.
She couldn’t understand why the kettle was empty the other day when she knew full well she’d switched it on and where the heck’s that coffee satchet gone she thought.
Hahaha
She had already brewed up and put it next to her chair.

ReplyDeleteMy mum is 95 and is also on the ball and enjoying life. Unfortunately she is practically blind and that limits her somewhat.

What a lovely lady, and she sounds great fun to spend time with. I once made that crocheted hippo - happypotomus I think it was called, and I've since made the pony and dog all in the African flower motifs.
