I’m creating a book of words and images
by printing out black & whites versions of
my own photographs.
In some cases the words added
have come before I found an image
and other times the picture came first.
The lady standing in this photo from the early 1900’s
is my nana. How I wish I could ask her what she
was thinking as she posed with one of her sisters.
When I feel the book is finished I’m going to
print a hardback version off for myself.
I’m going for a swoop around the desks over at
What a lovely idea - I just love black and white photos, so evocative.

What a fabulous idea and it's interesting that sometimes it's the pic that comes first to mind or the words. It's going ot make a brilliant book. And I love the one of your Nana, a strong woman indeed.

Such a lovely idea. I like black and white photos - colour can be distracting. The photos chosen so far are lovely, especially the one of your Nana - her top is beautiful and I can see where you get your sense of style. Elizabeth X #29
