Thought I better show my face as I’ve not been around the midweek desk hop for a while over at Julia’s place
A friend wanted to make something for her niece’s
birthday so we had a little craft workshop and made a little money pouch.
OOPS !!
Well that was until I misspelt PENNIES and
had to cover it up then ended up turning it into
a travelling sewing kit.
Like all good crafters you can turn your mistakes into something else and no-one need know. Unless you blog it of course.

Hehehe it’s never a mistake....just a work in progress to the lovely finished result. I’m sure you intended it to go down that route. Love how it turned out.

Definitely a great turn around and still plenty of room to keep a penny or two so it's a win win on both aspects. It's a lovely little creation.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing WOYWW.

Hahaha, yes, well at least you were able to turn it into something equally lovely, and no one will know about your mistake ... That's to say: we all do now ... xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn. Well done - turning a little problem into an opportunity for a solution...

ReplyDeleteNice to see you back on the desks today Lynn! Oh, I think we've all hidden/changed/transmogrified our failures into triumphs at some point in our crafting lives :-D

ReplyDeleteGreat cover up, beautiful make.
ReplyDeleteThat's the great thing about creative work, we can always make a new layer and fix our mistakes. Sometimes it even turns out cuter than the first idea. I think that happened here . . . you are so clever. I always enjoy visiting your blog :)
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
Connie :)
That's lovely Lynn and a nice photo of you too. Happy woyww, Angela x23x

Hi Lynn,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by my blog earlier. It was nice to hear from you but I'm sorry you are having a tough time at the moment. I have been struggling to blog regularly but am trying really hard to keep some continuity - I suppose as we go through life we have to have some lows to make the highs seem high if that makes sense!
Sending hugs,
Diana xx
I laughed at Sarah Brennan's comment cos it was the first thing that popped into my head too!! Sorry....evil mind.... :-D. It's nice to see you posting again, I did love the Narnia wardrobe you showed on a previous blog, what a fab idea!

ReplyDeleteSOrry I’m late. Still smiling at the mistake. Brilliant recovery there Lynn! Nice to see your smiley face - what a great pic, you are beastly photogenic, she says in her whiney jealous voice.
