What’s on your Workdesk

Thought I better show my face as I’ve not been around the midweek desk hop for a while over at Julia’s place

A friend wanted to make something for her niece’s
birthday so we had a little craft workshop and made a little money pouch.

OOPS !!

Well that was until I misspelt PENNIES and
had to cover it up then ended up turning it into
 a travelling sewing kit.

  1. Like all good crafters you can turn your mistakes into something else and no-one need know. Unless you blog it of course.

  2. Hehehe it’s never a mistake....just a work in progress to the lovely finished result. I’m sure you intended it to go down that route. Love how it turned out.

  3. Definitely a great turn around and still plenty of room to keep a penny or two so it's a win win on both aspects. It's a lovely little creation.
    Thank you for sharing WOYWW.

  9. When life gives you lemons, make something useful out of it. This is wonderful and you always know how to think outside the box.

  12. That's the great thing about creative work, we can always make a new layer and fix our mistakes. Sometimes it even turns out cuter than the first idea. I think that happened here . . . you are so clever. I always enjoy visiting your blog :)
    Have a lovely day.

  18. Hi Lynn,
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog earlier. It was nice to hear from you but I'm sorry you are having a tough time at the moment. I have been struggling to blog regularly but am trying really hard to keep some continuity - I suppose as we go through life we have to have some lows to make the highs seem high if that makes sense!
    Sending hugs,
