Wednesday again and I hope you are not looking for that
polystyrene ball I started faffing about with last week as its
not been touched since.
I did however get some new scissors to help with the intricate task
of cutting out the fabric flowers. The tweed wool fabrics are not
mine, my dapper chap wandering welder husband bought them for his next altered
waistcoat project. You can see what I mean here
All I have to show is the parcels I have been wrapping
to send to friends. I can't tell you what's in them as its
top secret
Another excuse for not having a lot on my desk
is that the sun came out and I have been tidying up the garden.
So unless I bring a note from my Mum next week I
better pull my finger out and get behind my desk.
You are sure to find more productive crafters over
at Julia's place. Take a look
Always lots of lovely things to see over at yours Lynn.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week.
Hugs,

That tweed is fabulous! Can't wait to see what creation Val will whip up with that. xxx
ReplyDeleteNO shame in not being at your desk...We have had excellent weather for a week, hence I fully prepared the whole potager and got blisters on my hands despite kid leather gloves and then couldn't comfortably hold a paintbrush!, but I can sit in the greenhouse whatever the weather now at my 'outdoor' desk, I can't bear to be inside if the sun is shining... your packages are delightful, Dxxx #17
ReplyDeleteI think we ALL have projects we start, get unhappy with and consign to the darkest recesses of a cupboard or drawer! Lovely pix today though

Not heard the word "faffing" in a while - wonder if it comes from around here only? Made me smile.
ReplyDeleteNow come on Lynne, get on with that polystyrene ball, I had high hopes for it and thought it would look beautiful. Not to worry I am off to look at hubby's waistcoat now.
See you next week.
Hugs, Neet 2 xx
A lady after my own heart, when the sun shines I have to be faffing outside, the garden wins everytime. There will be time enough for crafting when it rains or is too cold. The waistcoats have me intrigued I'm off to have a nosey.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week.
