I made this using baking paper, lace, cardboard and a stamp
for our friends wedding anniversary next month
Then another day I made some books
This is all because I got a mad creative splurge
after finishing the VAT return.
Oh, and a long armed stapler from Amazon for £7.50
I'm giving this a go after
I've had a look around some desks over at Mrs D's.
What super makes and I just love how you have informed us of what you are doing.

ReplyDeleteIt's a 5 Star at £7.46 including Prime postage Helen
DeleteOh, I love me a long armed stapler...sad, I know but they're SO useful :-). Did you use the baking paper to make the heart? It looks kind of see through..I like the effect very much.
ReplyDeleteYour to do notes made me smile too :-D
Hugs, LLJ 13 xx
I cut three hearts using pinking shears and layered them up trapping the lace, cardboard and string in between, then machine stitched round the edges
DeleteOh such a lovely creative desk - those VAT returns must have released your inner crafter again! x Jo
ReplyDeletethe heart is sweet, as is the bunny :-) Vicky#19
ReplyDeleteYour final pic has a great statement - must pass that one onto one of my mates who is always deliberating on what to do and not doing ANYTHING. Lovely makes as usual. Have a good week - glad that tax things out of the way x Jackie 28

Phew, I bet you are glad all the VAT returns are done! The heart is beautiful. I read in your reply to LLJ how to do it. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit and have a good week,

I love your signs - especially like the bunny holding one. Lol. Good to have a treat after finishing the VAT returns. I'm thinking of 'rewarding' myself for doing our taxes (have to file them here in the states). I'm finished ours and two of the kids - only one more to go!

Hi Lynn, you have been busy! It's a funny thing how clearing the hideous tax chores can really boost the creative spirit isn't it? I HATE TAX DEADLINES!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteHow fab. Thrilled that you got the VAT done (snigger, it only takes about 3/4 hour, but oh, the pain) and then hey, a spurt of creativity to follow. That's very rewarding. And you're hugely prolific!!
ReplyDeleteHi Lynne, love your heart and also the pretty new books, your bunny is very clever to make them. Happy WOYWW, thanks for popping over!
