I picked up these little pretties on Spitalfield Market when we were in London.
They are meant to be flower crowns. At a £1 each I couldn't/would'nt want to make them myself.
I've got a feeling I'm going to kick myself for not getting more. I think they will come in handy for one of my craft workshop projects. They look nice around this button hoop I made.

Poor Philip |
Here's Philip after a few Mulled Ciders and tired of waiting for me to come out of the
Jessie Chorley Shop
Here's a good song for him
"My man is a sweet man
My man is a kind man
I know he's a fine man
Cos he's mine all mine"
I was singing it to him when we came out of Motown the Musical
WE HAD A FANTASTIC TIME IN LONDON
Have a great smiley weekend everyone
I'm off to see whats putting a smile on faces over at Annie's blog

Hi Lynn,
ReplyDeleteI'm envious of all the cute stores that you visited. I can see why the Jesse Chorley shop is your all time favorite. The window display would definitely draw me in.
Very clever with the decorative head pieces! They work perfectly for your button heart.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Kay
You visited all the good places. I think London is probably the only place that can support those kind of shops on that scale to survive, which is a shame, because it would be lovely to gave that kind of creativity everywhere. Bet you were in your element. Xxx
ReplyDeleteha ha love that photo of "Phillip" looks like a wonderful trip. Soojay xx
ReplyDeleteI don't know about smiling, I just feel jealous now Lol! what a great trip! Have a lovely weekend, Angela x
ReplyDeleteTania's right, sadly I can't see those kind of unique shops surviving outside of London for long. So good that you got to visit but poor Phil, he does look a bit cheesed off!!
ReplyDeleteHave a look on eBay for those garlands - a festival trader I know buys them from China and sells them for £1 so they must be as cheap as chips to buy in bulk - if you don't mind the wait! xxx
Thanks Vix I'll do that xxx
DeleteWhat a lovely post. I feel like I've been window shopping. What fantastic quirky shops.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting earlier,
Lisca
I love that sort of market and poking around the little shops. (I'd probably have enjoyed the mulled cider too!)
ReplyDeleteYour button heart is very pretty as are the flower garlands I am sure you will put them to good use. Kate x
Oooooo! Looks like you have a fabby trip to London. I would love a rummage in that shop too! I am hoping Hubby and I are going to London later in the year so will have to come to you for planning advice!!
ReplyDeleteYou should join Phillip up with Lucy, our massage friend. I will try and send you a picture of her next time I am on training weekend!!
Hugs and I hope you have been let back into the house now!!
I think you and I should get together as we seem to have a similar mindset and love of nick nackey shops!!
