"Westminster Abbey, the Tower of Big Ben
while we go round the Houses of Parliament.
Now here's a thing, firstly I'm not politically minded (Philip makes up for that in our house) and while I find it a magnificent building and I am proud of our architecture, I can't reconcile that with the cost of it all.
For me it's like the opulence of many of our churches.
How could they justify spending all that money.
Anyway I'm glad I've been and I've seen it and it was a good fifteen quids worth but I am left wondering.
Philip thinks I could get a part in "Call The Midwife"
in my vintage clobber
We got some cheap tickets for the "Kinky Boots" musical at the Shaftesbury Theatre. Its about a shoemaking company in the north of England that needs to move with the times so they start making kinky boots for transvestites. Its hysterical, got fantastic music and the costumes and "ladies" are unforgettable. Put it on your to do list.
