Friday Smiles

This is Bert, his owner is our local postmaster.
Bert likes to keep a check on his weight while he's at
work as he has a weakness for biscuits
It's hard work guarding the money
and looking cute for the customers all day

Happy Weekend
Everyone

I've just popped back to add this....
I've had a perpetual desk calendar since 1997 and the saying today is

"Today, serve the Lord by serving others.
There are many who need the assistance that only you can offer"

Underneath it in 2013 I wrote

"I have done.  I did the VAT return, something Philip can't do haha"

Crikey, I'm back again ..... I've just realised I'm helping my Auntie sort her paperwork today.  I should write that on the calendar as well

There's some more Friday Smiles

.. a perpetual calendar - that indeed is good verse for every moment of our lives for that is what the Lord Jesus did and He was our example, thanks for sharing and popping over.

  3. Bert is a beautiful boy. What lovely photos. We have a little village post office and Schui is always on the counter or walking around demanding fuss and attention. He's a big white fluffy cat. Barbxx

  5. What a lovely dog! I'm glad you shared him.
I love the verse on your calender. Sometimes we will never know how the Lord has used us and sometimes we have to be proactive and just do it!
Thank you for visiting, have a great week,
    Blessings,
    Lisca

  9. Gorgeous dog, Lynn. We don't have a dog, The Boss would not countenance it, but it would be lovely to borrow Bert occasionally :) Hope you got your aunt's tax returns done and dusted in time :) Elizabeth xx

  12. I WANT Bert! He is adorable and makes your heart melt, specially with that biscuit poking out of his mouth. My King Charles Spaniel used to do that!
You certainly served me this week by giving me a huge smile (and tear) when I got your package. I needed that, thank you.
    Hugs
