You are my sunshine .....

Some of us in this house don't like
dark mornings

We don't want to get out of bed
We feel drawn to the light
So after a quick look round
for something to distract us from our glum
Its time to go and see the people who can bring us a bit of sunshine.
Even if its only as far as the fridge.

  1. I hate dark mornings! I'm in search of some sunshine. I've been looking at flights. 3 months to wait! xxx

  3. Yes, the mornings are darker - as my old mother would say, winter draw(er)s on! I love the little snapshots of your home, Lynn. xxx

  4. I think I must be a bitty weird; I like the dark mornings and early evenings, yet I know that my subconscious does not. I am happier in the bright of day.
    My brain is conflicted.
Lol. An excellently composed post Lynn xxx

  5. Yes, The light is important. I used to get depression from the lack of light in the winter (called SAD syndrome) I had to buy a 'lightbox' with broad spectrum light in it and sit in front of the light every morning for at least 15 minutes (while having breakfast) otherwise I couldn't function. Now I live in Spain and I have no problem (obviously) the sun shines in the winter too.
I love your photo gallery on the fridge!
Keep your pecker up as they say,
    Have a good week,
    Lisca

  7. I dislike the darker mornings too, Lynn, not to mention the darker days we have to endure up this way ... can't begin to imagine how they do in the far north, so I'm with your cat and your fabulous collection of 'meeces'. Love your photo gallery of your favourite people - guaranteed to cheer you up. Elizabeth xx

The dark mornings are not much fun, even out here, but at least ours turn to sunshine quite often! Kate x
