Todmorden, Tea and Thrifty Treats

When my hair appointment was rearranged at the last minute I had a quick rethink and decided on a trip to Todmorden secondhand market.
 I haven't been for ages.
I found these two hand painted little pictures on different stalls and haggled the price down on both to £4.
They will be joining the Wall Of Flowers in our bedroom
These four 4"x3" framed prints where £1.20 for the set in the charity shop and the lace curtain for the utility room door was £2.  I knew I'd find one without having to resort to Dunelm if I searched hard enough.
I was thrilled to bits with this standard lamp.  I gave mine to my auntie a few years ago on a long term loan.
The shade is really old but looks fantastic.
and the lampstand itself is a great shape
This pretty bag, I got for Nicola my partner in thrifty shopping, was a £1.
All this thrifting is thirsty work so I'm off to Taste Tearoom now for a cuppa and a cake

  2. You look really lovely in your suit Lynn and the shoes are fab too. Your hair has grown a fair bit since I saw you, but it suits you that bit longer. Your bargain buys are great; you obviously have the knack for finding these things {{Hugs}} xox
