What's on your workdesk this week

Bath Buns .......
I know don't say it "she's away again". Yes your right we have been.  This time to Telford to see these lovely girls
Then on to Bath which we were very impressed with
Even the cheeky gulls
I'll have to get back to some work next week as I've got a workshop to facilitate on the 4th July.  So I may not look so relaxed next Wednesday.
You will have to have a look here for the real workers heehee

Todmorden, Tea and Thrifty Treats

When my hair appointment was rearranged at the last minute I had a quick rethink and decided on a trip to Todmorden secondhand market.
 I haven't been for ages.
I found these two hand painted little pictures on different stalls and haggled the price down on both to £4.
They will be joining the Wall Of Flowers in our bedroom
These four 4"x3" framed prints where £1.20 for the set in the charity shop and the lace curtain for the utility room door was £2.  I knew I'd find one without having to resort to Dunelm if I searched hard enough.
I was thrilled to bits with this standard lamp.  I gave mine to my auntie a few years ago on a long term loan.
The shade is really old but looks fantastic.
and the lampstand itself is a great shape
This pretty bag, I got for Nicola my partner in thrifty shopping, was a £1.
All this thrifting is thirsty work so I'm off to Taste Tearoom now for a cuppa and a cake

What's on my workdesk today

Another week with not a lot going on desk wise
except that one of these Message On A Bobbin went out as a wedding gift
I have been busy in the garden though
and as we are due to go and visit these three gorgeous little papillons
I've got things to sort and pack
and to check my kinky boots for scuff marks before we leave.
Have a great week everyone.
Think I have just got time for a quick dash round some desks before I go.
Don't forget to have a look as well

Mr & Mrs Vintage Habit

Time for a bit of an update on our Vintage Habit
This beautiful Admyra of London crimplene summer coat arrived from Ebay this week at a purse breaking £4.99 + p&p.
I teamed it up with this 1970's Ridella secretary style dress, which has a little edge to edge jacket with it.  £3.99 + p&p and gave the whole ensemble an outing  to see the Piano Guys at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester.  Check them out on You Tube their ability to "mash" classical and pop music together while perched on top of a cliff or the Great Wall of China is amazing
Vintage handbag from Stockport Vintage Village Market £8.  The monthly vintage market is on again this Sunday.  See the link in the side bar.
Here's a nice Fulmer blouse found in the Age UK mobile charity shop in Ulverston, Cumbria.  Very expensive - £1.50
While we were in the Lake District I found this peachy bag in the Bay Search & rescue charity shop for £1.99

This has been a very expensive blog page... hee hee ..... Not !

Let's top it up a bit with this gorgeous Ted Baker double cuff shirt £8, Sue Ryder shop in Ramsbottom and a classy tie
We've had some lovely comments from people who've seen us out and about this week.

" You always make us smile when we see you"

"Mr Holland is so dapper"

" You are both such an inspiration"

" How do you manage to find such great clothes"

" Can you restyle me"

" You look fantastic"

We are really enjoying our sudden new found fame and the new friends we've made. Vintage clothes and restyling is a great passion we both enjoy.
