Sunday saw me at the Textile Society's annual Antique Textile Fair
at The Armitage Centre, Fallowfield.
I love this event, I have been going for years.
This year I bought a two piece Welsh Wool Tapestry suit for £35 and a matching bag and purse for £15.
I saw quite a few students wearing them.
These fabulous cigarette cards will be great for cardmaking and crafting.
Look at what I paid for these old buttons on cards.
I will either frame them as they are on their cards
or use them as collage pieces.
This super leather wallet was going to be made into a present but I've put bits and pieces into the three compartments inside and I have decided to keep it. Well nobody will appreciate as much as me I'm sure.
Finally here's a French fashion newspaper from 1933, some papers for collage work and the pins will appear somewhere as a collective or maybe cut into strips, we will see.
Next Sunday I'm hoping to be visiting the monthly
Stockport Vintage Market.
You can see a link at the top of my blog.
Wow, what a lovely collection of goodies! Creative Blessings, Tracy x
