Last ones from Sizergh Castle

Sizergh Castle is a beautiful National Trust property in the South Lakes, Cumbria.
This typewriter is in better condition than the one I've got in my garden.
Inside the castle
Looking down into the hall.
The beehives in the garden.
That's it from Sizergh. Time for a cuppa and a cake I think

  1. Lovely pics Lynn. Is it Size-urg or Size-orough?
I love old buildings. Especially if I can mooch about, haha. I like to imagine the life of times gone by and am grateful, in the most, that I don not live 'then'
Are the beehives still occupied? xx

    1. It's Size-er Mo and a great place. There's also Levens Hall nearby which is very atmospheric.
Yes the beehives were full xx
