 How lucky am I ??

 I did a stash swap with Colette Copeland from Toronto, Canada

 and this is what she sent me.

 

 I feel embarrased now at what I sent to her.

 Although I do know that Colette has actually done something with hers already.

I will let you know what I do with it all.

Focus on Life..... "You are....."

"Focus On Life" is a weekly photography challenge led by Studio Sublime. Each week there is a different theme to use for your photography.

This week's is a toughie ....."YOU ARE"

The challenge is to focus on what you see as positive about yourself.

This year I am doing an online art course.

and learning to hand and machine embroider

"YOU ARE ".......... Extremely proud of the fact that over the last two years I have taught myself how to us an iPad, how to blog and now I've got an iPhone there is no stopping me, like Sally at Studio Sublime with hers.

WHY WOULD YOU ??

Why on earth would you do this








A scribbled flower trapped with machine stitching in part of an old padded envelope.






As if that wasn't enough messing about I then machine stitched some photographs of my sketchbook.
















Oh no I couldn't leave it at that I then stitched some more photographs
















This little drawing WAS on my wall but now it's been doctored by the machine








Now why would you do all that messing about when you have a hundred other things to do.
Never mind there is always tomorrow to do what I'm supposed to be doing.
Then again there's also a lot more photographs to mess about with. Oh dear !!!!

 Not a lot really.  I finished the keyrings for end of year leaving presents.

 At Sunnybank Day Centre Craft Club we made these lovely mice bookmarks

 But in the garden there is a lot going on and I keep going out for a look.

 Isn't this beautiful, its just appeared from nowhere.

I have started my new online course 

SIMPLY STITCH

and will be posting about that on my 

LYNN HOLLAND IN STITCH.

There is sure to be lots happening on other peoples desks over here
