ANTIQUE TEXTILE FAIR
Mandy & Samantha Baker who were selling antique costumes had really dressed for the occasion and they had some lovely things on display.
The whole day was buzzing, there is always plenty to see and buy.
This is one half of the main hall. It was hard not to be tempted by all the lovely laces, buttons, fabrics, clothes, bedspreads, bags, haberdashery etc.
My friends MAVIS BENTLEY and BARBARA JEPSON who I shared
a stall with. We were on the upper floor of the hall along with the graduates, Textile Society, Embroiderers Guild, Crochet & Knitting Society and many others.

It was nice to see Heather Lawson again of HELLISH DESIGNS when I went to pick up my two new lamps from her. .

It was a great day out, met some nice people and chatted with friends who called as well.
Even the Doodly Birds enjoyed their outing and some of them are now happily perched in their new homes.

ReplyDeleteIf I had a stall there I would never be at the table! It looks the kind of place I could spend LOTS of money. Im glad you had a good day and sold some doodley birds as well
ReplyDeleteOh I would love to go to something like this, there never seems to be anything like these vintage style fairs in my area or anywhere remotely near! thanks for sharing your lovely pictures Lynn :)
