CLOCKING IN WITH THE DOODLY BIRDS...

There will be some new faces appearing at the Bolton craft fair at the Last Drop Village.

Doodly Bird clocks, available with a red, white or black frame.

Each clock has a hand illustrated face, so each one is unique and a one off.

 There will also be money boxes, mirror compacts, a new range of cards and some surprises.

Don't forget you can have a name of your choice added to most items to make it into a special gift.

I'm getting excited about the Craft event on Sunday at  Last Drop Village, Bromley Cross, Bolton.

Lots of sizes. They make lovely presents

Lots of little notebooks and sketchbooks for sale

There's a wide range of Doodly Bird goodies available on the day

including this lovely cloth bag decorated with two Doodlies and two badges.

I keep thinking I will keep it for myself.

 Joining me is my friend Gemma Thorpe who will be selling paintings, ceramics, cards and jewellery all with a coastal theme, which is her speciality.

 So if you are in the Lancashire area of Bolton between 11am & 4pm

come and see us.  There are 32 stalls exhibiting their individual crafts. Tea and cakes too.

Bet I spend more than I take home.

CAKES, CHICKS AND CHATTER

A warm welcome awaited us when we arrived at Tracy's Easter Playday workshop in her lovely home at Slaidburn near Clitheroe. Throughout the day while we worked we were plied with homemade buns and cups of tea in china cups.  Lunch was a lovely homemade lasagne and salad followed by homemade ice cream and fruit. More cake and tea came round in the afternoon.

 This lovely family home is filled with wonderful creations made by Tracy, who is one of the most warmhearted and kindest people I have met.  The whole day passed so quickly we were loathe to leave this cosy country house.

 Each of us was given a box with materials in to make a fabric windmill, a fabric chick, bunting and a stitched canvas.  Armed with instruction sheets and Tracy's guidance we set off cutting, stitching and assembling our creations
