The placards are handed out to people as they come into church, then waved during the service and the chains are strung across the front of church and at the end the minister will break them. Lots of people have parts to play and there will be a display of images of Malayasia. Afterwards the refreshments will be Malayasian food. The event will even be going on in your part of the world. It's taking place on Friday 2nd March and us in the UK its 7.30pm Thanks for your nice comment and interest. Lynn -:)
Hi Lyn,Thanks for visiting me. Re the wool bowls. I just got three strands of wool together. Sometimes three different balls. I put them each in a bag or container, and twist as I zigzag together. On my blog next week I'll show wip with the bowls. So easy really. No glue. Depends upon how tight you make the cords. If very thin and tight, you don't have to go back and zigzag the bowls again, but if loose, I go back and zigzag from inside bowl and to the outer edge. There are lots of tutorials for the cotton line bowls with wrapped fabric round the cording.I haven't tried that yet. You can use pantyhose too.Email me if this isn't clear enough. Judyxx
