Manchester Antique Textile Fair

 It is 20 years since the Textile Society held the very first specialist Antique Textile Fair in the country. 100 dealers exhibiting Antique and Vintage Costumes, Textiles and Accessories from around the world.  

Talks and demonstrations.

I will be meeting up again with Heather Lawson of Hellish Designs, she makes fantastic lamps/lampshades, cushions, aprons  lots of textile things which are absolutely beautiful. 

I will be picking up two more lamps from her for our newly decorated bedroom, can't wait.

I will also be there with Ten Plus Textiles, where I will have the very noisy Doodly Birds with me all squawking with expectation of finding new homes. More about that nearer the time.

OFF TO DUBAI.......

No not me, but these lovely little felt baby boots and heart are.

 They were made by Kim Tillyer of North Yorkshire.

 She lives in a lovely part of the world and is a very talented lady.

When I told her they were for my new nephew in Dubai, she sent me this lovely felt heart with Noah's named stitched on and filled with lavender,  as a gift.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS........

 Today I have been working on getting these cheeky chaps into my Etsy shop

They have done that much squealing and squawking with the excitement of flying off to new homes, that I forgot to put this one on.

 The little fella's seem to be getting more elaborate by the day. It must be with spring just being around the corner.
